Earth to Iran. It is absolutely not in your best interests to threaten the United States.
Especially when Trump, a man who revels in keeping his opponents guessing about his next move, is in the White House.
He doesn’t play typical political games Iran is used to.
But more importantly, if you value your survival you will not threaten the most powerful military the world has ever seen.
Regardless of who is sitting in the oval office.
According to Reuters, Iran leaders just fired the threat heard loud and clear by every member of the US military.
They said they would deliver a “crushing” response if Trump names its Revolutionary Guards a terrorist group.
Trump is considering taking many actions against Iran. From pulling out if the Iran deal to adding sanctions to naming Iran’s elite troops as terrorists.
If he does this will the group is screwed because they will find it that much harder to get access to the best technology and weapons.
Please note that individuals associated with group are already named as terrorists but the group as a whole has not been so far.
“We are hopeful that the United States does not make this strategic mistake,” said foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi.
“If they do, Iran’s reaction would be firm, decisive and crushing and the United States should bear all its consequences.”
“As we’ve announced in the past, if America’s new law for sanctions is passed, this country will have to move their regional bases outside the 2,000 km range of Iran’s missiles,” Revolutionary Guard commander Mohammad Ali Jafari said.
“If the news is correct about the stupidity of the American government in considering the Revolutionary Guards a terrorist group, then the Revolutionary Guards will consider the American army to be like Islamic State all around the world particularly in the Middle East.”
“The Americans should know that the Trump government’s stupid behavior with the nuclear deal will be used by the Islamic Republic as an opportunity to move ahead with its missile, regional and conventional defense program,” Jafari added.
